softwareDeveloper
and lifelong learnerAlways a curious mind, I have found enjoyment in a few disciplines, but never quite so much as when programming.
I am a Chemical Engineer with a Master's Degree in Biotechnology. The STEM mindset is one of my main strengths. I also hold an MBA degree, which has provided me with valuable business knowledge that provides me a rich context to excel in my professional roles.
I have studied programming through two avenues: the 42 School (Strong
focus on the C
programming language, UNIX
and
computer science fundamentals) and a Full Stack Web Development Bootcamp
(MERN Stack
) at The Bridge. Both experiences carried out in
Madrid, Spain.
These collective learning experiences have given me enough base knowledge to pursue new technologies in a self-taught fashion as well.
I am currently a Full Stack developer at an early stage startup building a product from the ground up.
I also have experience in roles that have required excellent interpersonal and problem solving skills:
While I've been tutoring fellow students through high school and university, I've also been given the opportunity to teach at the university level in Chemical and Biotechnological engineering courses such as: Mass and Energy Balance, Industrial Biotechnological Processes and Research Project Development.
I am an amateur long distance runner and that has been my focus for the past couple of years, but enjoy endurance sports in general including road cycling and swimming.
Videogames are also an important part of my life. I favor story-driven experiences such as JRPGs.
